How do I purchase tickets for New York Film Festival?

Tickets go on sale Tuesday, September 15 at 12pm ET, or earlier for FLC Members (Contributor level and above. and Pass holders. See the pre-sale calendar here. Purchasing Tickets Online - Visit the calendar to purchase tickets online. - During on-sale windows, you will be placed in a virtual waiting room. No matter how early you log on, everyone will be randomized at the start of the pre-sale/on-sale. Do not refresh your browser, or you may lose your spot. - You may select your delivery option during fulfillment: digital delivery (free), sent to you via email within 48 hours for you to print or display on your mobile device, or hold at box office ($10 fee per order), and tickets can be picked up at the corresponding venue’s box office. - Digital tickets are also accessible through your online account. After logging in, to view purchased tickets, click Digital Tickets from the Account in the upper left corner. - There is a maximum of two tickets per screening, per household. All tickets are subject to availability. No refunds or exchanges. Purchasing Tickets In-Person - Tickets for festival screenings are available at the Alice Tully Hall box office on Monday–Saturday, 10am to 6pm; Sunday, 12pm to 6pm. Day-of tickets must be purchased at the corresponding venue’s box office. - If a screening is standby-only, partial view seats may be available only at the Alice Tully Hall box office. Standby Tickets In the event that advance tickets are no longer available, tickets will be issued on a standby basis. Standby lines form before showtime at the corresponding venue. Regular ticket prices apply. There is a maximum of one ticket per person. Rush Tickets $15 Rush tickets to select screenings will be available throughout NYFF, and will be announced when available next to showtimes and on film pages, and daily in the NYFF newsletter. Tickets are subject to availability at the corresponding venue’s box office starting one hour before showtime, first-come, first-served. Reminders - We strongly suggest you log into your account and verify your account details prior to purchasing tickets to ensure you can access tickets as soon as they go on sale. It can take 10-15 minutes for a password-reset email to arrive and FLC staff does not have access to passwords. - Please note you may be placed in a Virtual Waiting Room due to high demand. It is important that you do not navigate away from this page. - We highly recommend purchasing tickets from a desktop computer, not a mobile phone or tablet. You will lose your place in the Virtual Waiting Room if your connection drops out. - Following the Virtual Waiting Room, log in and you’ll be taken to the Calendar page after successfully entering your email and password. You should also see your email address appear at the top of the website. - Once logged into your account: - Select the first screening you wish to attend from any of the Calendar pages. - After you’ve added all the tickets you wish to purchase to your cart, review your order and click “Check Out.” - There is a 60-minute limit for your cart online. We recommend making more than one transaction if necessary so that you do not lose the tickets in your cart. - Alice Tully Hall (ATH) is a reserved seat house. The Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center (EBM) and the Walter Reade Theater (WRT) are general admission houses. - All seating locations, programming, and talent appearances are subject to availability. Seat locations at Alice Tully Hall are automatically assigned on a best-available basis. If you have a specific seating preference, tickets must be purchased in-person at the Alice Tully Hall box office. - To donate ticket(s) you are unable to use, please email [email protected] with your order and ticket number, or visit the ATH box office. How do I redeem my NYFF Pass?

View your pre-sale window here as a NYFF Pass holder. 1. We strongly suggest you log into your account prior to your pre-sale date to confirm your account details. It can take 10-15 minutes for a password-reset email to arrive and FLC staff does not have access to passwords. 2. When it is your pre-sale window, after logging in, visit the Film Calendar and scroll to your first screening selection. Click the screening. If a screening says Tickets Not Available, it may be standby only. 3. Select quantity of tickets next to Redeem NYFF Pass (max two tickets per screening). Click Add to Cart. 4. To add more tickets to your cart, click Continue Shopping in bottom left of screen or, if completing your order, click Check Out. You will have 30 minutes to complete your order. 5. Once you have completed your order, click Submit. 6. You will receive an email confirmation of your order with your tickets. Please note your order number in case your email goes to spam. If you do not redeem all of your tickets at once, you can view remaining tickets available in your Pass by visiting your account here. You can also access and print your tickets from your account here. For any issues on your pre-sale date, please email [email protected] or call the NYFF Hotline at 212.875.5631. The NYFF Hotline will be available during weekdays for the Member and Pass holder pre-sale, September 8–15, 11am to 5pm ET. What to know before your screening: - You can access your tickets here when logged in to your account, including options to add to mobile wallet or print at home. - All screenings start at the listed time. - Explore all festival venues here. - Box offices open 30 minutes before the first screening of the day and close 15 minutes after the start of the last screening. - We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes prior to your showtime.
